Phone Conversations #6

A month has passed.

Michael: So this isn’t as bad as you thought right?

Annette: No it’s better than I had anticipated. It doesn’t feel like you have an agenda.

Michael: As I said – I just want to get to know you.

Annette: Well you know me better than most.

Michael: Would you mind if I wrote a poem about you?

Annette: I don’t know what to say. I am speechless.

Michael: The next time we chat I will read it to you.

  1. Patiently, the fly fisherman draws back the rod, with a flick of the wrist, the line sails out, snaps and drops the fly into the current of the stream. The cautious but beautiful rainbow trout is attracted. She moves closer, warily. The fly disappears as the angler reels back the line. Another cast, another drop in the current, our fish is intrigued… And she is hungry… ❤️

  2. See, the first bit of tarnish!! Self centered, it’s all about me, lol.
Aren’t I tempting? Said the angler to the fish, swim a bit closer so I can truly admire the rainbows along your side.
You’re quite dangerously tempting I’d say. Your writing has captured me quite neatly. Always more allure in being caught by the brain first🤔. Yeah, you do it better.

    1. Lol. That was good. Once you wipe off the tarnish I can let you get to the center. Everyone is built up of layers. My erotica or a majority of my writing isn’t about me. I will leave it up to you if you are interested in the layers. I won’t push. I’m not a shark I won’t bite. 😊
