No Matter

(It’s Verse)
I have a sweet confession,
I thought I had all the answers to the questions.
Somewhere in the scripture,
I must have not seen the message.
Now I’m all torn up,
I somehow forgot where to turn.
Now I’m all confused,
It seems like I just never learn.

Chorus:
No matter how many times I screw up,
I can always lean on the lord.
No matter how many times I want the answers,
You seem to know what is in store.
No matter how many times I forget your words,
I know the words are in front of me.
No matter how many times I’ve cried,
I know deep down inside I have to believe.

(2nd Verse)
I have a sweet confession,
I thought I knew what was best for the situation.
Somewhere in the clouds,
I must have forgot about self preservation.
Now I’m all broken,
I need these pieces to come together.
Now I’m all disconnected,
It seems like I should know better.

Chorus:
No matter how many times I screw up,
I can always lean on the lord.
No matter how many times I want the answers,
You seem to know what is in store.
No matter how many times I forget your words,
I know the words are in front of me.
No matter how many times I’ve cried,
I know deep down inside I have to believe.

Bridge:
These demons are relentless and never seem to leave,
They cover my eyes and hate the word believe.
These demons seem to grab onto the bottom of my soul,
They laugh at my heart and never let go.
But I’m here to tell you that I’ve given my life to the man above,
He is the only one who knows the answers to the questions of love.

Chorus:
No matter how many times I screw up,
I can always lean on the lord.
No matter how many times I want the answers,
You seem to know what is in store.
No matter how many times I forget your words,
I know the words are in front of me.
No matter how many times I’ve cried,
I know deep down inside I have to believe.
