  1. Wow! Hindsight 20/20 You nailed me on this one. I have been banging my head against a brick wall for 9 months trying to help someone, that had not hit bottom with their behavior. I finally turned it over and realized I was merely planting seeds for the inevitable collision and I will be nowhere to be found, but I will have done a good thing My ego wanted to witness the light bulb turning on and a desire to change to be admitted.

    1. Sometimes our purpose is to be the messenger or in some cases, the ‘gardener’, planting seeds that will one day bloom given the right conditions. We all have our part to play. Your job is just as valuable as the next person who might have come along to water the seeds you planted. ☺

  2. This is soo true. I always take a moment to see how to react when asked questions that I know they do not want the answer to. LOL I sometimes respond with, ” Do you want the politically correct answer or the truth…Then base on their reactions; I know which route to take. For the most part it works but I have failed and have been too honest…I’m sure you know how that ended!

    1. Oh yes!
I have a very dear friend who always encouraged me to always be open and honest with him.
I always gave him my honest opinion even when my response benefited him but hurt me.

I’m watching make a huge mistake now but I’ve said all I can. Now I’m holding my tongue. He thinks I’m wrong. But my gut days otherwise. He will find out eventually. In the mean time all I can to is be his friend. Sometimes we need to learn lessons on our own. ☺ 🌷
